Ministry to the Sick

Ministers to the Sick is a program whereby trained men and women visit the sick in hospitals, nursing homes, and homebound for prayer, communion, and comfort.

Ministers to the Sick are chosen by the Pastor and staff based upon a person’s ability to interact with others. Ministers to the Sick can arrange for Communion to be brought to the home of any Catholic who is unable to participate at Mass. Ministers to the Sick visit the chronically ill, aged and homebound. Because of the large number of area hospitals and the HIPAA privacy act, it is important that our pastoral staff be notified by the family in case of serious sickness or injury to one of our parishioners.
